MedNotes operates primarily as an educational revision resource. We collect minimal personal information strictly necessary to provide and improve our services:

• Account Information: When you register on the MedNotes mobile app or our community forum, we collect your name, email address, and academic year.
• Store Transactions: Purchases made via our online store (store.mednotes.in) are processed securely through certified payment gateways. We never store credit card numbers or banking passwords on our servers.
• Usage & Performance Telemetry: Standard non-identifying telemetry (browser type, device model, pages visited, session duration) to maintain ultra-fast server response times.

The MedNotes App (iOS and Android) may request the following device permissions:

• Storage / Files: Required only to download and save medical notes and question paper PDFs locally on your device for offline studying.
• Notifications: Optional permission to alert you when new medical topics, question banks, or revision updates are published.

We use privacy-preserving analytical cookies and local storage tokens to remember your reading preferences (such as dark/light reading mode, search history, and bookmarked clinical notes). You may disable cookies in your browser settings without losing access to free study notes.

We partner with trusted industry providers for infrastructure: Cloudflare (content delivery & DDoS protection), Google Play & Apple App Store (application distribution), and Chatway (live student support widget). Each provider operates under their respective stringent privacy standards.
